Thinking: Brainstorming Ideas
Whether you're working alone or with a team, the first step in creating your game is to brainstorm some ideas:
- When in the Medieval period does the story happen?
- Where in Medieval Europe does it take place?
- Who are the people (characters) involved?
- What things do they usually do?
- What problems do they face?
- How do they solve those problems?
Because this game is about a real place and time, you'll need to know the facts about the Medieval period, too.
As you brainstorm what you know, type it into the interactive diagram below to organize the facts into categories that wil help you answer the questions above. Print it out when you're done. Visit the Resources page for more information on the Medieval period and history activities. Submit the completed graphic organizer and a separate sheet with answers to the story questions above.
