The Student Cantor Program of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, School prepares students to be leaders of sung prayer for our school liturgies.
Students who are interested in the program must want to lead others in sung prayer. They must be able to sing well, willing to sing alone in front of others, and faithful about practicing their music.
If you are interested in trying to be a cantor, please print an application form (click the pen and ink at left), and submit it to Ms. Kaplan to schedule an audition. She will help you discover if the program is right for you. |
